TAIPEI, Taiwan — In an attempt to better the data storage of Internet of Things (IoT) and the business opportunity of cloud computing, Andes Technology Co. teamed up with Acer Inc. in Acer’s Build Your Own Cloud (BYOC) to develop cloud service solutions. Therefore, Andes Technology announced that it will support Acer’s BYOC platform and BYOC ecosystem.

Relatively, Acer’s BYOC will also support the embedded microprocessor IP infrastructure and ecosystem establishment of Andes Technology. The collaboration realizes that businesses who used their IoT SoC can easily control objects from cloud.
In other words, this collaboration realizes monitoring, controlling, informing and data collecting all together.
According to Andes Technology, IoT is a diversified market with great potential and it takes multiple companies cooperating to fully exploit a market potential. Andes would like to contribute to the expansion of the IoT market by providing enabling resources for developers.
However, it will also bring together solutions for silicon IP’s, software stacks, tools, applications, and systems to help develop products that will connect to the world.
Moreover, Andes is also creating the “IoT League”, the league participants will receive greater exposure and enhanced reputation in the IoT market. By showcasing a broad expanding array of applications, new prospects will be attracted to adopt Andes customers’ products and solutions.
