2015 Taipei Int'l Invention Show Slated for Oct.

TAIPEI, Taiwan — The 2015 Taipei International Invention Show and Technomart (TIIST) is slated for October 1 to 3 at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1 under the auspices of several government agencies that aims at inspiring the transfer of international Intellectual property and technology.

The smart window, feeding robot and eletronic key system are highlights at this year’s TIIST. On the other hand, mobility is an unmistakable trend.

This year's TIIST, to be sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Education, the Council of Agriculture and the Ministry of Science and Technology, will focus on promoting and encouraging the internationalization and commercialization of intellectual property and innovative technology.

During the three-day exhibition, a total of 500 standard booths will be set up for individual inventors, invention groups and manufacturers from Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and Poland to display their latest inventions.

Entering its eleventh year, the TIIST aims to attract greater prospects for venture capital in the areas of international intellectual property trade and technology transfer as well as to demonstrate the innovations among Taiwan industry, government and academic institutes and to promote a public appreciation for IP innovations.

According to the official, exhibitors from 17 countries take part in this year's show which more than 1,500 products will be demonstrated to attract buyers and visitors.
