Wohlenberg has 143 years of history in Germany, specializing in the production of heavy-duty CNC lathe and large deep hole drilling. The filed of its customers include hydro and wind power plants, large-scale steel mills, construction machinery, shipyards, rail transportation and aerospace. This year also successfully obtained $US 7 million of the Indian Ministry of Defence orders for deep hole drilling.

Zhu said, the acquisition of Wohlenberg will complete FFG's ability in terms of heavy industry business.

In addition to the acquisition of Wohlenberg, FFG also announced that the company is scheduled to acquire of four Italian companies and a US based multi-axis machine manufacturer before the end of this year. Next year FFG will to acquire another US listed machine tool company.

Currently FFG is participating in the EMO exhibition in Milan, its booth size of 4,048 square meters, is the largest exhibitor.
