The announcement of latest Apple’s iPhone seems to be quiet, Acer and Asus seize the opportunity to unveil the company’s strategic roadmap to drive continued growth and expand the smartphone market ranging from the entry-level ones and high-end modules.

As to Lenovo, the product line has been simplified. One of its strategic plans is to increase 10 percent of its market share in two years. According to the company, the change will allow Lenovo to move its brand name into premium smartphones, where previously it had focused on the lower end of the market and in developing nations.

Furthermore, Moto will be the sub-brand to focus on the mainstream and performance side, and Vibe will be the sub-brand to focus on entry and mainstream.

In a move aimed at bolstering its share of the smartphone market, the company is partnering with technology giant Google to produce a 3D, augmented reality smartphone that promises to provide a magic window into the physical world.
