Chen said that the idea of foldable design comes from the telescopic umbrella. Fabric folding fans mitigate the centrifugal forces generated by rotating blades. The generator supplies 10 Watts.
Chen said, People can maximize power generation by connecting more than two fans together. Also, the device can connect to a solar power generator to expand its output.
Micro, foldable, and portable designs are vital features. With these three advantages, generator can provide critical backup power where power is unavailable at seaside or countryside areas.
, “it is convenient for people to carry outdoors for activities such as going to a picnic.” Chen said.
“It is a foldable wind turbine that is much smaller than normal wind turbine. It only takes you one to two minutes to assemble the generator”
