AUO to Hire 3,000 Employees in Taiwan to Strengthen Its Power in Emerging Markets

The recruitment targets include students of optoelectronic research and development, electronic motor development, processing equipment, software design, information technology, and business administration. This year 1,000 engineers and 2,000 operators are expected to be recruited.

In order to expand their international business, AUO is engaging in collaborations with a number of Taiwanese universities to provide students with six months or more of internship opportunities, and those with outstanding performance will be officially eligible to be hired.

AUO will simultaneously provide overseas postings and international training opportunities to enable elite employees who are interested in international development to obtain space to develop at AUO.

In addition, faced with the rise of emerging markets, AUO is actively training talent for work in emerging markets. This year they are specially instituting intern opportunities for long-term foreign students in Taiwan, and those with excellent performance will not only attain eligibility to be hired but also have to opportunity to be dispatched pack to emerging markets after the completion of their training period in Taiwan.
