The AQUOS P1 features a 5.3-inch FHDIGZO screen with a 120 Hz driver. The AQUOS P1 is equipped with a 22.6 megapixel camera, with the industry's fastest speed AF of 0.02 seconds as well as an F1.9 large aperture and OIS optical anti-shake.

Sharp has completely withdrawn from the overseas market outside Japan for the past four years and has focused on domestic development; however, beginning this year Sharp is teaming up with Commitva to cross over into the east Asian and southeast Asian overseas markets. Moreover, Taiwan is set to be the first stop of their comeback plan.

Commitiva CEO Ye Shun-fa believes that because of the “slow reaction” to Sharp’s domestic Japanese mobile products and the high production costs, there has not been a lot of activity.

This year Sharp mobile phones are returning to Taiwan and will then be sold in the Mainland Chinese, Thai, Singaporean, and Malaysian Markets. Under their alliance with Commitiva, Sharp will focus on brand development, while Commitiva will be responsible for expanding local business and sales channels.
