TSMC’s Q3 Revenue to Hit a New High By Shipping Its InFO Product

TAIPEI, Taiwan – According to Taiwan's Economic Daily News, TSMC's 16 nm processors for Apple will be shipped in this quarter and its Integrated Fan Out (InFO) business began to generate revenue, third-quarter revenues of TSMC expected to reach a new high.

Economic Daily noted that the sales of semiconductor industry has entered into the traditional peak season, coupled with Apple's chips was stocking in this quarter, TSMC's will have the highest order visibility compare with other competitors in the third quarter, especially its 16-nanometer process products.
In its Q2 investor conference, TSMC estimated that the market share of its 16nm business will reach 70% this year.
In addition, TSMC’s InFO also officially shipped last month which will be also increased it revenue.
