Pixer is the world's first "Cordless and Wireless" digital photo frame by using the latest E Ink Carta display, providing the industry's highest contrast ratio, 300 DPI high-definition and 16 bits grayscale. Also, the design concept of Pixer, it perfectly fits the technical features of ePaper, such as "original photo-like" visual quality, reflective instead of backlit, non-glare and sunlight visibility display.
The "bi-stable" is one of the properties of ePaper which makes Pixer permanently show the photo even when the power is off. Needless to say, "ultra-low-power consumption" and "long standby hours" are the two most essential features for the "Cordless Design" of Pixer which enable users to place or hang Pixer anywhere without an annoying power cord.
Dr. FY Gan, General Manager of ESI Business Unit of E Ink Holdings, said, “We are glad to have the opportunity for co-developing Pixer with Gigazone. E Ink is willing to commit to the different types of applications of ePaper. The adoption of ePaper technology into the design of Pixer has made the general public enjoy the feature of ultra-low-power consumption and visual quality with comfort."
Pixer also provides an APP with the most interactive and intuitive user interface that allows you and your invited friends to connect your Pixer and share photos wirelessly via various social media at any place in the world.
"We do IT for you" is a vital concept of G+ in the era of Internet of Things. We believe the technology should become more "service-orientated" to feed the different needs of various types of consumers. Using ePaper technology has made Pixer real from the design concept of "Made to be seen": it profoundly delivers a message to people that they can be as much as enjoying the convenience and benefits brought by the technology and not necessarily to compromise when human essence is already in the place. said by Leader Yeh, GM, Gigazone.
