iST and JFE-TEC Sign MOU for Building up Evaluation and Material Analysis in China

iST announced that they are going to cooperate with JFE Techno Research the company who specializes in high quality analysis, by signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). From this date, the two parties will be focusing on feasibility studies, finding overall solutions for technical problems worldwide, delegating cases for each other based on each company’s expertise and developing the advanced materials analytical methodology in the market of China.

JFE-TEC’s parent company, JFE Steel Corporation, not only ranks the top 2 and the top 10 largest scale steel company in Japan and the world respectively, but also maintains a good relationship with automakers as its overwhelming superiority on the steel supply for special purposes.

In 2004, JFE Steel Corporation has established JFE Techno-Research Corporation, specializing in the advanced analysis areas and evaluation technology.

In recent years, iST has observed and noticed that China government has put electric vehicle as one of the main developing industries. As “ECO( Ecology, Conservation, Optimization)” has become the key element in electric vehicle, companies in this area focus on the study of the various methods on vehicle structures. Following the market stream, iST pointed out that it is necessary to look deeply into analyzing efficient materials to ensure the vehicles’ stability and quality.

“Signing MOU proclaims the two parties’ partnership on the testing service publicly.” Both JFE-TEC and iST said. “The combination of iST’s capabilities of electronics and automotive verification and operation experience in China market and JFE-TEC abilities on the advanced material analysis will achieve the goal of “ECO” for China’s electro-mobility on quality assurance and material selections.”

With JFE-TEC and iST’s strengths in different fields, the two leading companies believe that this cross-border co-operation will bring a win-win situation for both parties in the various industries in the future.
