Taiwan’s Apple Supply Chains Heat Up for Upsurge of iPhone X Pre-orders

TAIPEI, Taiwan - According to a Taiwan Economic Daily News report, because pre-orders of the iPhone X have exceeded expectations, Apple has urgently requested assistance from related supply chains in Taiwan.

Currently in addition to be a hot selling item for pre-order in the American market, pre-orders have also exceeded expectations in the greater China region in Asia. As a result, the supply chain schedule has been accelerated.

Furthermore, in the Taiwan region all of the pre-order inventory sold out within 30 minutes, and have to wait for about one month.

The Economic Daily News pointed out that the supply chains in Taiwan mainly consists of PCB manufacturers, which include Zhen Ding Tech. Flexium Interconnect, Inc., COMPEQ MANUFACTURING CO., LTD., and Unitech, and they are discussing expanding supply chains with the United States and Apple.
