According to the Interbrand survey, this year the value of Taiwanese international brands experienced an overall growth rate of 2.9%, with Asus holding the lead with a brand name value of US$1.678 billion.
In addition, Advantech Co., Ltd. was ranked 6th with a brand name value growth rate of 11%, with Acer Inc. and MediaTek ranked 9th and 10th respectively, HTC ranked 12th, DELTA ranked 15th with a brand name value growth rate of 11%, and Transcend ranked 19th.
Interbrand stated that Taiwan's technology enterprises are diligently building connections with users and communities and actively using the power of their brand names to create their own technological influence. For example, through active interactions on major social media platforms, MediaTek has increased the overall activity of their brand and discovered new customers and increased their market share in various product domains.
However, Interbrand also reminded Taiwanese brand name enterprises that with the continued global extension and coverage of the scope of Taiwanese brand name enterprises, the problem of how to transition from “Industrial Globalization” to “Brand Globalization” will be the next step that Taiwanese enterprises will urgently need to solve.
