Advantech and YEONG CHIN MACHINERY Jointly Establish New Company

Advantech Co., Ltd. and YEONG CHIN MACHINERY INDUSTRIES CO., LTD. announced that they will jointly establish the Yongyan Zhishang Co., Ltd. in order to create a vision for smart manufacturing solutions for China Airlines and metal processing in the Asia-Pacific region.

Yongyan Zhishang will provide customer service for smart solutions for the metal processing industry and system integration providers. In the future they will launch equipment processing monitoring and utilization rate management system solutions. They will also launch solutions for real-time personnel reporting and utilization rate management systems as well as equipment processing quality control systems. These solutions will utilize SRP modular services, and in accordance with the requirements of each industry client, they will match modular hardware and software and rapidly select the proper solutions for customers.

Yongyan Zhishang is contractually scheduled to begin operations in the third quarter and will continue to build up a series of cases. Furthermore, they anticipate nurturing relevant talent from existing organizations in order to respond to the future development of the organization and business at Yongyan Zhishang .

YEONG CHIN MACHINERY INDUSTRIES CO. LTD. CEO Chen Bo-jia stated that the whole world is being affected by the wave of smart technology and Taiwan has changed from their old manufacturing model to Industry 4.0 with “new-generation smart factories” being of particular importance.

Advantech Co., Ltd. President of EIoT Miller Chang believes that in the wave of Industry 4.0, regardless of whether it is for machine tools or manufacturing , the majority of Taiwanese companies already recognize the importance and urgency of industrial transformation. In addition, a single vendor cannot be completely relied upon in this wave of trends, and alliances of various businesses and the combination of cross-industry core technologies and Domain Knowledge will be employed to create new business models in order to transform into the optimal models.
