MEAN WELL Suzhou Smart Park Officially Opens

SUZHOU, China - SDG (Sustainable Development Group) Suzhou MEAN WELL Smart Park held a opening ceremony at November 11th in Suzhou, China. The total investment of this project is NT$ 4 million with 100 million square meters, a 6.8 times bigger than in Taiwan. MEAN WELL estimated that the annual production capacity is to reach 100 million unit and become the biggest standard power manufacturing base in the world after opening. Meanwhile, MEAN WELL links with EAG partners to build the world’s largest power product solutions demonstration arena, and to realize innovative products and solutions step by step in the Smart Park.

According to the MEAN WELL, the park is themed with energy-saving, green power, intelligence, and automation, standardization, globalization, to show its new generation of energy and management systems and building automation technology. And hands with partners in communication, security, and environmental protection field to use Powered by MEAN WELL partner product.

MEAN WELL also established the Sharewell Group of the “resource-sharing and future-cocreating” innovative approach, which is dedicated to cooperating with green energy technology and power-related industries in China, to broad market and the development of the group. The top ten projects are manufacturing, green technology, automation technology, SMT technology, magnetic parts technology, precision production, stamping technology, authentication technology, logistics, and smart building.

MEAN WELL pointed out that there are currently five buildings in the new Suzhou park area, among which there are Suzhou MEAN WELL Headquarters, Convention and Exhibition Center, Suzhou Sharewell Technology, Suzhou Sharewell Certification Technology, Suzhou Sharewell Green Energy Technology Company Headquarters, and Sharewell Architectural Intelligence Office, Sharewell Incubation Center, will strengthen the group's R&D and design capabilities and enhance product competitiveness. In addition, a national standard safety certification and EMC laboratory has been established to improve the efficiency of product certification and provide more timely and effective services. It is also one of the few major power supply manufacturers in the world that has invested in the establishment of an international certification laboratory.
