The VMware Ready program is a co-branding benefit of the Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program that makes it easy for customers to identify partner products certified to work with VMware infrastructure. Customers can use these products and solutions to help lower project risks and realize cost savings over custom built solutions.

“We are in the business of helping our customers, and this certification means customers can experience impressive performance and usability in virtualized hyperscale environments with the reliable Toshiba drives they already know and use,” said Kenji Tsuchiya, senior manager of storage products application engineering department, Semiconductor & Storage Products Company, Toshiba Corporation.

“By using PX02SM Enterprise SSD series with vSphere 6.0 enterprises can incorporate additional capabilities that enhance performance as well as reliability, including Toshiba’s proprietary Quadruple Swing-By Code (QSBC) for improved error correction. The SSDs are optimized for mainstream server and storage applications requiring a balance between endurance, cost and performance.”

“We are pleased that Toshiba and the PX02SM Enterprise SSD series qualifies for the VMware Ready logo, signifying to customers that it has met specific VMware interoperability standards and works effectively with VMware infrastructure, which can speed time to value within customer environments,” said Howard Hall, senior director, Global Alliances, VMware.
