Ennoconn Consider Returning to Taiwan to Set Up Factories

TAIPEI, Taiwan- IPC provider Ennoconn Corporation, a subsidiary of Hon Hai Group, is considering to establish new plant in Taiwan and conduct any possible merger, to form a full range of suppliers in industry PC market.

Currently, Ennoconn is based in China, located its factories in Kunshan and Shenzhen, is evaluating the possibility of setting up a new plant in Taiwan. Alternative locations will be Shulin, Tucheng and Zhonghe District of New Taipei City, even Taoyuan will be a option. Production line may be the telecom products.

Fuquan Zhu, general manager of Ennoconn, said that with the acquisition of handheld device and network security product from other companies, Ennoconn already have the abilities to provide IoT related products.

In addition, Ennoconn is going to pursue other merger opportunities in Taiwan and other countries next year, also to promote the new model of cooperation, Zhu added.

This year, Ennoconn has obtained new customers in United States and Europe, with providing industrial Automation Products; has also made new interactive product orders in Japan. With the continued expansion of the scale of operations, Ennoconn will become the second largest IPC manufacturer in Taiwan.
