Wistron Kaohsiung Software R&D Center Opens and to Recruit 200 Manpower

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Wistron’s Kaohsiung software R&D center today held opening ceremony, Wistron chairman Xian-Ming Lin and Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chu attend the ceremony, promised to recruit 200 employees in the local.

Wistron chairman Xian-Ming Lin said in his speech: "Wistron has international R&D teams around the world, but also very care about the development in Taiwan. In addition to Taipei, we will expand to Kaohsiung, and planing to set up other R&D bases in other locations in Taiwan."

Lin also expressed his appreciation on the high efficiency and fully assist of Kaohsiung city government. He stressed: " Wistron will strengthen the investment in local, use and cultivate talent in Kaohsiung. Meanwhile, support the industrial transition of Kaohsiung."

Chen Chu, Kaohsiung Mayor, said: "For this investment in Kaohsiung, she expect Wistron to participate in promoting Kaohsiung, to help Kaohsiung become a paradigm of smart city, and she promised the Kaohsiung City Government will fully assist Wistron in the shortest time to reach recruit 200 people. "

Currently, the Wistron’s software R&D staff of more than 4,000 people worldwide, dedicated to the development and design of smat campus, enterprise applications, mobile applications and platform services.
