Intel announced their progress on this project yesterday at a press conference at COMPUTEX, and Intel invited Asia-Pacific Telecom to join in the release of this news about their 5G applications. Asia-Pacific Telecom stated that they plan to launch the quasi-5G (pre-5G) at SYNTREND at the end of the year and make use of an interactive 3D accompaniment tour guide using mobile phones.

Asia-Pacific Telecom also commented that at the end of the year consumers will be able to go to SYNTREND and connect with the SYNTREND App's mobile 3D accompaniment tour function and experience the low latency of high-speed pre-5G Internet as well as high-bandwidth machinery.

The App uses 3D appearances to introduce the different floors, and it can display 3D images of the storefronts in real time. It also displays promotional offers in all of the stores. If a user is thinking about moving towards a shop, the App will display the route and guide people towards the shop. The App can also use AR or VR interfaces to introduce events in the shops.
