This year’s Acer booth at Computex takes on a fresh approach with its movie-going inspired design. It features a large enclosed space dedicated to showcasing Acer’s Gaming PCs, Windows Mixed Reality and StarVR Head-Mounted Displays (HMD). The booth’s movie-going feel is further evidenced with its ticket counter with show times on a digital display, where visitors can sign up for a StarVR and/or Acer Windows Mixed Reality HMD demo.

In addition to HMDs, the enclosed space is also showcasing Acer’s latest Predator series notebooks and monitors, including the behemoth Predator 21 X curved-screen gaming notebook, the thin and powerful Predator Triton 700 gaming notebook and the Predator X27 gaming monitor with support for NVIDIA G-SYNC HDR at 4K resolution.

Following closely from Acer’s Global Press Conference in New York, this is the first time that Acer is showcasing its comprehensive Virtual Reality, Windows Mixed Reality, and Gaming offerings to international media, buyers, and consumers at the same time.

Just outside the enclosed space, visitors can get a glimpse into the capabilities of the aBeing Cloud services platform. Developed based on the concept of delivering user-centric, service-oriented technologies, these versatile solutions cater to the needs of businesses and consumers alike.

Among them is Acer Being Signage (abSignage), a digital signage and advertisement solution that can help businesses effectively understand and better target the right audiences. The solution offers businesses a complete and total solution by integrating hardware (Digital displays), software (Picture Manager media player) and services (Advertising and management).

Currently abSignage is the only digital signage solution that can be implemented on a global scale. It is able to achieve this through Acer’s global reach spanning 160 countries and the aBeing Cloud platform. This reach allows Acer the ability to offer customers after services, such as display maintenance, globally in addition to building them a worldwide digital signage network.
