ASUS Announces World’s First TV Tablet "ZenPad" with 4GB RAM

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Asus unveiled yesterday a new series of tablet named “Asus ZenPad”, to be available in Taiwan today. The new tablet, featuring 4GB RAM, high-end TV level GPU, HD IPS display, ASUS Tru2Life visual enhancement technology and DTS-HD Premium Sound, aims to satisfy the eagerness for high-quality mobile video.

ASUS ZenPad series includes four models, namely ZenPad 8.0(Z380C/KL)with 8-inch display, ZenPad 10(Z300C/CL)with 10-inch display, 7-inch ZenPad C 7.0(Z170C/CG) and 8-inch ZenPad S 8.0 is expected to release in August.
Asus stated that, the cutting-edge innovation in ZenPad is combining 4GB RAM with TV-level display chips and adopting ASUS Tru2Life, a visual enhancement technology and DTS-HD Premium Sound to make a sharp weapon for cinema lover and strive to occupy commuters and young generation market.
Jerry Shen, the CEO of ASUS, has a great expectation for ZenPad and said that the new tablet series will be the necessary for personal entertainment by its enhanced video effect and luxury accessory. And the tablet market will be recovery gradually even during the period of economic recession.
