Microsoft and Taiwan PC Firms Establish First Pop Up Store

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Microsoft has teamed up with Taiwanese PC entrepreneurs, Acer, Asus, and MSI to establish the first Pop Up Store in Taipei and provide user experience for Office 365 services for mobile computing.

Microsoft stated that thin and light notebooks manufactured by a wide variety of companies and Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 will be on display in the mobile innovation space, and Office 365 cloud software provides cross-device and cross-platform experience. Furthermore, store brand representatives will personally demonstrate how to utilize all types of Office application software.

In addition, there is a mobile entertainment hall in the mobile innovation space that is showcasing the XBOX ONE.

Taiwan Microsoft Consumer Devices Operations Group General Director Dann Wu said, “Microsoft has teamed up with brand-name Windows computer companies and distribution partners and established a physical pop up store that will enable 3C stores to change into multi-functional experience spaces that are stylish and modern.”

Acer Taiwan operations president Dave Lin stated, “Microsoft mobile innovation space is showcasing Acer's newly launched Acer Swift 3, Acer Swift 7, and the limited addition Toy Story commemoration Acer V13. Equipped with Office 365, they are light and thin and have high functionality.

Asus General Manager Lin Fu-neng said, “In order to satisfy different consumer business, entertainment, and lifestyle needs, we are sharing new trends in mobile life and collaborating with Microsoft to create the Microsoft mobile innovation space. Asus' Ultimate Technics notebook computers are equipped with Office 365 in order to fully realize a wireless and seamless lifestyle.
